Key Features of the Leofoto LS-365C for UAE Photographers

No Centre Column by Design: Maximum Rigidity at Every Height

The LS-365C has no centre column — not as a cost-saving measure, but as a deliberate engineering choice. Without a centre column, every centimetre of height is delivered through the legs themselves, which means zero lever-arm flex, zero vibration amplification, and a minimum working height of just 80mm when the legs are fully splayed. UAE photographers shooting macro at Al Qudra, ground-level bird portraits at Ras Al Khor, or ultra-low compositions in the Liwa dunes will find the LS-365C drops lower and holds steadier than any centre-column tripod at this price point.

36mm Top Tube: What Makes This 5-Section Different

Most 5-section travel tripods sacrifice tube diameter to achieve compact folded size — which is why they are notoriously unstable at full extension. The Leofoto LS-365C Dubai uses a 36mm starting diameter [قطر أنبوب 36 ملم], tapering through five sections to 22mm at the bottom. The 36mm top tube is the same diameter found on some 4-section professional tripods — which means the LS-365C delivers the stability of a 4-section at the packed size of a 5-section. Digital Camera World’s review specifically noted it showed “precious little flex” when the shoulder was given a firm twist at full extension — which is rare praise for any 5-section design.

What Head to Pair With the Leofoto LS-365C

The LS-365C apex platform uses a standard 3/8″-16 mounting stud compatible with virtually every ball head, pan-tilt head, and fluid head on the market. For UAE photographers buying this tripod at CamCity, our team recommends:

• For travel and landscape photography: The Leofoto LH-40 ball head (20kg rated, 491g, 40mm ball) — available at CamCity and a natural pairing for the LS-365C’s 20kg capacity
• For panoramic work: The Leofoto LH-40PCL dual-axis panorama head — as featured on the LS-324C kit — mounts directly onto the LS-365C platform
• For video and hybrid shooting: Any fluid head with a 3/8″ base thread mounts directly

Ask our team on WhatsApp which head suits your specific camera and shooting style before you purchase.

1/4″ Accessory Sockets and Ballast Hook

The spider has 1/4″-20 threaded accessory sockets on both the bottom and side — for mounting a magic arm, monitor, LED light, or microphone directly to the tripod body. The removable ballast hook at the base of the apex column lets you hang a camera bag or sandbag for additional stability in windy conditions — particularly useful for UAE coastal shoots at JBR or Kite Beach where sea breezes are constant.

Who Should Buy the Leofoto LS-365C in the UAE

The photographer who already owns a quality ball head and wants to upgrade their legs without buying another bundled head they do not need. The LS-365C legs pair with any 3/8″-16 head you already own — Arca-Swiss, Really Right Stuff, Leofoto, Gitzo, Benro, or any other system.

The landscape and travel photographer who flies frequently and needs a tripod that clears airline carry-on size restrictions comfortably at 48cm folded, reaches 152cm at full extension, and weighs 1.77kg — without sacrificing the rigidity that makes long-exposure night photography actually work.

The wildlife photographer working in UAE terrain — Ras Al Khor, Al Marmoom, Hatta, Jebel Ali — who needs to go from 80mm ground level to 152cm standing height with one tripod that handles a 400mm or 500mm telephoto prime on 20kg capacity legs.
